S'mores Rice Krispie Treats

S'mores Rice Krispie Treats combine the classic flavors of s'mores with the beloved Rice Krispie treats. These gooey, crunchy, and chocolaty treats are perfect for any occasion or as a fun twist on the campfire favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • 4 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set it aside


In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat


Stir in 3 cups of mini marshmallows and continue to stir until they are completely melted and smooth


Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract


Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and gently fold until well combined


Spread half of the Rice Krispie mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan, pressing it down firmly with a spatula


Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the first layer


Next, sprinkle the semisweet chocolate chips evenly over the graham cracker crumbs


Finally, spread the remaining half of the Rice Krispie mixture over the chocolate chips, pressing it down firmly


Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows on top


Allow the treats to cool and set for about 30 minutes


Once cooled, cut into squares or rectangles and serve

Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet


Place about 2 tablespoons of dough between each cookie on the baking sheet that has been prepared


Leave space between each cookie


Press down a little on each cookie with your fingers or the back of a spoon


When the edges are golden brown, it's done baking


Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way

Baked Vegan Pakora

Vegan pakoras that are baked instead of deep-fried are better for you. These crunchy bites are great as a snack or as a side dish because they are full of tasty spices and mixed vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chickpea flour

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup finely chopped mixed vegetables such as onions, bell peppers, spinach

  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  • Salt, to taste

  • Cooking spray or olive oil, for greasing

Instructions:

Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C


Add the water, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, and salt to a large bowl


Mix the ingredients together until the chili powder is smooth


Cut up some vegetables and cilantro and add them to the batter


Mix everything together well


Use cooking spray or olive oil to grease a baking sheet


Place spoonfuls of the batter on the baking sheet, making sure they are well spaced apart


As soon as the pakoras turn golden brown and crisp, put them in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes


For a tasty dip, serve it hot with your favorite chutney or sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup granola

  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a pan for doughnuts


Add pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract to a bowl


Use a whisk to mix the ingredients well


Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a different bowl


Mix the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture while adding the buttermilk in between each addition


Don't mix any further than that


Fill up each doughnut mold about two thirds of the way to the top with batter


If you stick a toothpick in it and it comes out clean, it's done


Let the donuts cool down


Put crumbled pumpkin doughnuts, Greek yogurt, and granola in serving glasses or bowls


Add maple syrup to the top of each layer


Do this again and again until the glasses are full


Add more granola and whipped cream on top


Serve right away and enjoy!
